Hi there, I'm testing your component (in order to purchase it or not) in a vb.net project. It has a strange behaviour which I cannot clarify. In some images the process can't seem to extrat the IPTC tags. This is random, not always in the same images, not always the same failure. My process is supposed to read in bath mode all files in some folder and extract tags to a database table. At the some code I'm also creating a stream handler to the file, like: Dim objFileStream As Stream = New FileStream(strPath, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read, FileShare.ReadWrite) int order to copy image file to a diferent folder, but allowing other processes (the AiS Exif) to access the image file. I've test a different aproach, to just read all the `ObjectName`s tags to a string, doing no copy on the files. It also fails, randomly... Is this a bug? I cannot go to a production env with this random bug... Please advice... Thanks |
